By Karen B. Hirschman (University of Pennslyvania, School of Nursing) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Adding Value to Long-Term Care (Paperback)
This book describes a step-by-step plan called The Value System which is a holistic approach to assessing and meeting the needs of each subsystem in the long-term care environment including the resident, the family, the care providers and the administration. It is an excellent resource that can provide long-term care administrators, nursing coordinators, rehabilitation specialists and insurers with creative, cost-effective options to meet the needs of their residents and staff in the changing long-term care environment.
