While this little book seems, at first glance, to be a first effort for its authors it is none-the-less a very good start. It is somewhat abbreviated. Many of the descriptions could be a lot more detailed and it certainly could use a lot more photos and drawings but it does cover the basics. Also there are some warnings (e.g. Do NOT use screws) in the book that could be much more valuable if they explained why.

One final side note: I purchased the Kindle edition and found that the annotations included in some of the drawings and photos were much too small to read on a Kindle and were just barely legible when viewed on a Kindle-PC.

In spite of the above I found the book helpful and would recommend it for other neophyte do-it-your-selfers.
