Addipure Water Dispenser Filtration System

This system is good if you perfectly place (install) the filter head on the bottle and the numbering gage is tight. If not, the system will leak more water than allowable in the holding tank. This is bad news if you the water dispenser system that dispense cold and hot water, for the excess water in the tank will submerse the relieving valve for the hot water tank, which will lead to the water in the holding tank and the filter head to heat up. Per the Addipure literature, hot water will damage the filter head and make it useless.

We've been using this system for a couple of months now, and we think it's great. We're drinking alot more water now that it isn't as expensive as delivered water. As Alhambra/Sparkletts users for many years, we were concerned that the taste and quality would suffer with this system. Cold water is wonderful. Room temperature water tastes as good as Arrowhead, but the dramatically reduced costs makes it worth it.

This is one fantastic product, it's been several years and I am just as happy with it today as when I purchased it for the first time. No more water bottles in the house to store especially at $9.00 a bottle delivered from the h2o company. We are a family of 5 and truly enjoy the crisp, clean water we drink. The only thing I wish I could purchase the replacement bottles/filters locally here in NYC.

I love my addipure but couldn't find the filters. Found out that the manufacturer went out of business. Found a company that sells the replacement filters though until they run out. You can find them on [...] I am so happy!

The water tastes quite good, but after a while of using it, the cartridge started leaking little black be-be shaped particles. This got into the reservoir of the tank and is taking a lot of work to clean. If you use this product, be careful.

I HAVE BEEN USING ONE OF THESE AND JUST ONE FILTER WILL SAVE ME $1OO OVER THE PRICE OF STORE BOTTLED WATER THE TASTE IS GREAT GETS OUT THAT CHLORINE THASTE IN MY WATER, AND THE 2.5 GALLON BOTTLE IS MUCH EASIER TO LIFT ON TO THE DISPENSER. I HAD TO REMOVE THE CENTER POST FROM MY DISPENSER AND THE TOP COLLAR WHICH ONLY TOOK A COUPLE OF MINUTES , TO ACCOMODATE THE FIT TO THE TOP OF THE DISPENSER TO THE BOTTLE.JUST ADVANCE THE COUNTER ON THE BOTTLE WHEN YOU FILL IT AND YOU WILL KNOW WHEN TO CHANGE THE FILTER.

I ordered a new filter from Amazon, which is the only place I have found it for purchase online, in the beginning of September. The ship date keeps moving back, with the latest one being Dec. 5. I am expecting the "sorry, we will not be able to ship you this item at all" email any day now.
