Book Description

September 1, 1998
County courthouses around the country have always been the arbitrators of disputes and conflicts that arise in a community. As a trial lawyer for nearly 40 years, Peter Langrock provides a unique perspective on how such events can change both a community and the practice of law in general. His view emerges from cases involving such well-known figures as Leo Durocher, Pearl Buck, and John Zaccaro as well as the stories of ordinary people whose names mean very little but whose stories hold universal appeal.

(REAL NAME)
A wonderful book full of captivating stories of real people who come into contact with the legal system in rural Vermont. Langrock has a gift of storytelling and humor. Though he is a great lawyer, he may have missed his calling. I read Addison County Justice in a day.
