We needed a comprehensive set of flash cards to quiz our soon-to-be 3rd grader over the summer. Other sets we found didn't go high enough in the equations, making them too easy. These are just right because they go up to 12+12. I also like them because they show the equation on the back side of the card in small print, so I can flash the card and know what the answer is supposed to be without turning it to face me. One side of the cards also has a glossy finish, which makes it easier to remember which ones you've done and how far you've gotten. We bought all four sets (+, - x, /) and I'm glad I did.

Printing the cards on both sides may save the publisher money, but it makes the cards practically useless.
If you're going through the cards and want to set aside the ones they don't get right for more practice, you can't unless you only practice half of your facts. They also weren't methodical in how they did the cards. I am practicing addition facts with my son one group at a time. That is, we are learning all the +1's, then the +2's, etc. I want him to learn 1+3 as well as 3+1. You can't flip through the cards and pull out all the facts with 1 in them because some of the cards have "1" facts on both sides of the card. Then one side of the card is glossy and one side is not. Either you have to practice the "glossy" facts separately from the "dull" ones or the cards stick to each other (glossy sticks to glossy) if you get them turned the wrong way. They make look pretty, but they're not very useful.

These cards are sturdy, large and have big print. They are double sided with a small copy off the equation and answer on each opposite side. They definitely will serve their purpose and ill remember this brand when shopping for subtraction multiplication and division.

These are big and easy to read. But they aren't as thick as I would prefer them to be, and they are only coated on one side.

Great for getting child familiar with basic addition. Have had great success playing a game trying to get through as many cards as she can in 2 mins. Every day she beats her last highest amount she gets a reward (piece of candy, 1/2 hour of Wii game time, movie, etc...)

We have found these cards to be everything we wanted. I mean these are pretty simple things so what could really be wrong. Cards are pretty sturdy, print is big for the child to see and the answers were correct. For those older parents the answers on the back could have been a bit bigger but if it was too big then the child might get confused. The cards are double sided.

Nice tool to promote learning mathematics. Also good for children as they learn to view numerals both horizontally and vertically.

They're pretty much exactly as advertised. If you're looking for flash cards in subtraction 0 - 12 these are a good choice.

These cards work fine for standard drilling. But I wanted to play War with them as a way of making math facts more fun. It didn't occur to me when I ordered them that the answer to one side being printed on the other would make games difficult to play. Moreover, I found the cards impossible to shuffle because they're so big and flimsy.
