I bought these for hooking to my satellite receiver where there wasn't a phone jack. Didn't affect the DSl and I was able to order pay per view with the remote. Works great for the satellite.

Initially received a lot of static and it did not work. After moving the base unit to another location, everything is working fine. I am using this with a fax machine and I am able to send and receive faxes.

These work great and no problems with it.

If you have Dish Network, I would suggest calling and telling them you don't have a home line anymore and they will waive the charges. You may have to do that every few months. Also, they don't make you have to have a phone line to each box anymore, only one is ok now. Hope that helps.

Hopefully you won't need this, but if you do get it you will like it fine.

Satellite outlets do not work very far from base unit and the system causes phones to ring occasionally for no reason.

Please be aware the web site indicates this item can extend a telephone connection. However, it is a "data only" extension and is not compatible as a telephone extension. Amazon folks were more than friendly in providing a refund, but the web information needs to be corrected and highlighted this is only for data and not voice extension.

A product that really works. I needed to provide telephone inputs to 2 new Directv receivers, that were moved from previous locations. These things really worked well. I wish that one could buy (in the same package) more than 1 base unit and one remote unit.

I have bought this product in its complete package on two occasions. On both, it worked for a while and then just stopped working. Nothing would make it right. Did all the stuff recommended in the manual and just didn't work. called the company and they didn't care. Said that sometimes the inside just "burns up"

This device does pretty much what it says. It works perfectly for DirecTV, to display the caller ID, etc. If the line is in use, the unit is disabled, and does not transmit call waiting caller id to the satellite receiver, otherwise, it's great. But for the issue/feature when the line is in use, it would receive 5 stars. This unit is not designed for voice use and isn't being used for that purpose.

I bought these because I needed a couple of additional phone jacks near my new satellite TV units to utilize caller ID. When they arrived I hooked them up and they worked perfectly. It has been nearly a year now and they continue to work as advertised.

I bought the transmitter and receiver along with this additional receiver for the Directv in my new home. I plugged them in, hooked the transmitter to a phone line and had dial tones everywhere. It was as easy as that. what more can I say!
