On their third album, Adelitas Way intensify their brand of hard-edged rock with a tighter songwriting sensibility and more brutally raw energy than ever before. To create the album, the Las Vegas-based quartet joined forces with Nick Raskulinecz (a Grammy-winning producer who’s previously worked with artists like Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, and Queens of the Stone Age) and holed up ... Editorial Reviews

2009 debut album from edgy, Las Vegas Rock quintet Adelitas Way. Produced by Grammyr-nominated Johnny K (Disturbed, Plain White Ts, 3 Doors Down), the recording offers a variety of empowering and sexy rockers, spotlighting the shredding blues style of teenaged axe-slinger Chris Iorio and the propulsive, grunge-like drumming of Trevor Stafford, a veteran of Ozzfest band, Shuvel. New York bassist Derek Johnston and guitarist Keith Wallen complete the line-up, bringing a combination of Indie, Hardcore, and Classic Rock influences to the band's distinctive sound. The first single, 'Invincible,' is being used as the theme to the weekly WWE Superstars show on WGN America.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must Have Music!!!!!!!!!!!! July 16, 2009
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
Adelitas Way, accomplishes what all great rock albums do. It has something for everyone, it's cool, it's hot, it's loud, it whispers, it rocks, it's emotional, it grips your soul and it is a hellava great record. This new band out of Las Vegas writes songs with great melodies, superior musicianship, unforgettable riffs, hard rockin guitar sections, heart tugging lyrics and energizing vocals. Destined to be 2009's most favorite album , I see why WWE have already picked up two of their songs.

I first caught the band, Adelitas Way, at a local concert opening for 10 Years. From the first song there was no mistaking that his band was chock full of supremely talented musicians. Watching this band live is an incredible experience not to be missed, and now fans are treated with their long awaited debut album. And what an album it is. Do not let this one pass you by, Adelitas Way has something very very special that you won't wanna miss.

The album opens with three strong selections in a row. The heart pounding power anthem and WWE theme song "Invincible", followed by one of the heaviest tracks on the album "Scream" and "Dirty Little Thing" destined to be the most memorable track and one everyone will love. The height of the album comes at track 6 and 7. My favorite "So What If You Go" effortlessly transitions into the soul ripping track "Closer to You". The album changes into the crunchy, funky guitar track "Just A Little Bit" and closes with the very sad "Brother". Missing from the album is "Inside", and by my estimation probably one of their best-but no fear, you get it for joining their mailing list.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adelitas Way July 14, 2009
Format:Audio CD
I just bought this today and have listened to it at least five times straight through already. It's one of the very few albums that I don't feel the need to skip songs on. Every single song has a unique rocking vibe and it has a fresh sound that clearly distinguishes it from the rest of the songs.

One of the most poignant and emotional songs to me is Brother. The words are very gripping and you can really hear the emotion in Rick's vocals. Not to mention an amazing guitar solo by Chris.

This is the epitome of what a real rock record should sound like. Balls to the wall, never let you go, in your face, rocking album. Everyone should definitely check them out!

3.0 out of 5 stars Bright Future ahead April 30, 2010
Format:Audio CD
ADELITAS WAY,has a bright future ahead of them no doubt. There debut album is full of great songs with sing-along choruses.Standout tracks among these are Lead single Invincible,Scream and Last stand. However,There are also quite a few borrowed elements on there debut that one can't help but notice. Since i am reviewing this lets point them out.Dirty little thing has Nickelback's save me all over the bridge. Anyone that doesn't hear Daughtry's It's not over being copied with Last stand should take a second listen. My Derailment's chorus is basically the chorus to Taking Back Sunday's MAKEDAMNSURE. One can even hear Pokerface in the opening riff of Hate love. For me taking all that into consideration I could not bring myself to give this anymore then 3 stars for this review. This band however has plenty of potential and hopefully will be around to make another album and put more of there own stamp on it. They suceeded in doing that with songs like Invincible and Scream.

I really did not like this Cd at all much when i first got it. Most of the songs just seemed to slow and there where not many hard songs. That was dissapointing at first. Read more
