But this was quite amazing! There is some screaming, but most of it is just beautiful melody. The scream is used sparingly and in my opinion, adds to the overall feel of the album. The vocals are quite impressive, as the lead singer has the higest vocal range I've ever heard from a male. In the studio, at least, this is quite an impressive band.

I must admit, I was less than expecting what I received when I went out on a limb and purchased this CD. I can't say that I had heard their music, but as a big proponent of buying new music I decided to give them a chance. At first I was a little off put with the lead vocals (a lot of reverb/chorus on them), but after listening a little more I became entranced.

This CD is a lot like what you would expect if Coheed met DWP, or a very decent screamo/hardcore band. I think the screams are very much on point and have a great tone to them. The breakdowns aren't the heaviest things, but they fit the very spacial feel of the almost fantasy feel. It's hard to describe, but it really removes me from where I am and puts me into a whole different perspective.

Well worth the listen, and I would suggest the buy!

I love how A Skylit Drive does screaming then cuts right into singing, this part of the music is what i like about them. It's nice to have singing and screamo on one cd. They remind me of Hawthorne Heights and The Devil Wears Prada, but sure does it different witch i really like that. This cd is a big step up from Wires and The Concept Of Breathing. I think if you liked there last album you'll like this one, but it is different from there last one. This cd is a great listen you will enjoy this cd.
