I'm 54 and have lifted weights since I was 19. I knew a guy who had one of these and remembered seeing them advertised in the comic books of my youth. I was curious as to whether they worked or not. They do.

When I got the device, I could barely do one rep, and I can do 200lbs on the pec chest machine at the gym. In using it for about 3 weeks twice a day, I am now doing two sets of 20 reps twice a day. My chest is fuller and my poundage on the pec machine has increased by 40 lbs too.
If you get one, try varying the positon of your hands. Low down for middle and lower chest, and up high in front of your face, for upper chest to deltoid tie in. It will build your arms and shoulders as well as it is very much a compound exercise.

I've made the right decision of purchasing this particular product after a thorough research in terms of different choices with model, price, seller, etc, etc... I could honestly say that after doing 2 sets of 20 reps of about 4 different shoulder and arms exercises, I'm fully stimulated in terms of feeling focused and invigorated. I start with doing isometric, followed by isotonic, and sometimes combined to break the routine. Then four weeks after, I could see an evident increase with my chest, shoulder and biceps - now toned and firming up! And since I'm not a coffee drinker, this upper body workout definitely gives me a "caffeine" effect : a sense of alertness, especially in the morning! I will certainly recommend this to everyone who are concerned with improving their upper body and get a level of achievement at the same time.

I expected a "Heavy tension" Power Twister and it is actually in my opinion a light duty tension bar. I may have to find a true heavy tension at a Sporting Goods store. The picture and the description are misleading for those who want a bar that is hard to bend. I'm returning this Power Twister.

Really great way to work your chest and arms. Was initially concerned it wouldn't have enough resistance...but turns out it definitely does. Pretty tough little thing. Highly recommended.
