A very attractive and functional desk lamp. Not too large, not too small . . . just right. Nice bright white light. Goose neck allows it to be turned to any position. Bulb doesn't become too hot. Not necessary to touch the portion of the lamp that contains the bulb as it does get warm, but you can move the lamp by grasping the top portion of the goose neck to position the lamp anywhere you would like the light to shine. Great for a desk or bedside table. Nice toggle switch on the base of the lamp. One brightness alone, but that's fine. Very attractive light. I couldn't be happier with it and would recommend it to anyone for their desk or bedside table or even a bookshelf.

The lamp is easy to use. However, do not expect warm, yellow light. This type of bulb emits a bluish light that does light the reading matter, but not in the way you may have expected unless you are familiar with this type of bulb.
