Had Potential,

I have to start by saying that I returned this lamp, since it arrived with a broken plastic piece surrounding the light socket. Also it apparently lacked two wooden plugs needed to secure two of the wooden poles. I can't be sure, though, since there were no directions in the box.
All of that said, the wooden parts were smooth and nicely painted, and the shade was decent fabric. (I'm not sure where one would ever find a replacement, however. The company really should send a small catalog as well as a direction pamphlet.) I've given it three stars for basic quality, despite the obvious problems with quality control of the final packing job.
