Turn on the light and turn up the tunes with Adesso's Soundstage iLamp. Sleekly designed with a flexible gooseneck arm and a satin-steel dome shade holding 30 bright, energy-efficient LED bulbs, this modern task lamp also serves as a docking station for an iPod or other portable music player with two 3-inch full-range speakers and a headphone jack. Play any song and two strips of lights flash to the beat of the music in a fun light show of blue, green, and red (Beethoven and Beck sure look different now!). Product Description

The Soundstage iLamp has a rectangular shaped plastic base with a mesh metal grill that covers the two 3" full range frequency speakers. Above the speakers, two horizontal strips each contain six LED bulbs that pulsate green, red and blue in sequence with music. The speaker housing is 4" deep and holds an adjustable gooseneck which supports the vented dome shade containing 30 LED bulbs. The iPod dock extends from the front of the base, and has push-button controls for on/off music, high/low volume and on/off light. The dock plays and charges the iPod. The light is operational independent of the music function. The included headphone cord plugs into a jack in the back of the Soundstage iLamp, allowing it to also be used for other types of music players. Available in black or white with satin steel accents.
