A lovely, exotic look radiates from this fine floor tree lamp by Adesso. With an Asian feel, the three "lanterns" have metal ribbed, white cotton fabric suspended shades. The 74" high base is an antique bronze T-stand, with a rectangular base. A three way turn switch is located on the pole. This wonderful style is also offered as a table lamp, and floor lamp.

I've never bothered to review an item on Amazon, but made an exception for this one. The lamp looks great in their photo, yet when it arrived it was clear immediately that it was a poor choice. The packaging styrofoam was actually so old or badly stored that it had degraded into a white paste that we had to wash off the lamp's frame and cord. More importantly, though, the paper lanterns do not hang straight at the top or bottom; you can even see the glue at points. It makes the lamp look really cheap, worse than the $25 ones I use to have in college. We know this is not an expensive lamp, but it's also not super cheap and we have another paper lamp for the same price that looks fantastic. This one is just made badly. Do not buy this. You will be disappointed.

I thought I would write this review since the other review posted is so different than my experience. The lanterns are a nice muted linen color, and they are fabric not paper. The base is a dark aged looking bronze color. It puts out a really great light and has a high or low switch. Its very easy to put together, the base is heavy so I do not have to worry about it getting knocked over easily, I have young kitties so thats a concern for me. Over all for the price I have no complaints what so ever. Its far superior to the quality of the Ikea lamps that go for this price. Amazon fulfilled mine and it came in a timely manner in great shape. I say if this suits the design in your home you will be happy with it, we love this lamp.

This lamp was so easy to assemble and it puts out quite alot of light. But it also give a beautiful ambiance to the room.
