The lamp just stopped working one day. I replaced the buld to no avail. I had thrown away the box. I was ripped off!!!

This lamp is beautiful and will look great in a contemporary space. The brushed steel is sleek looking, the shade is lighter than in the picture...more like a light ivory. The large lamp is quite substantial. The best feature is the fact you can touch the lamp anywhere on the base and it cycles through 3 light levels. Perfect!

I was looking for a lamp that would make people ask where we got them from and I found them here on Amazon. What I love about the lamps is that they look great on our glass end tables, are touch on and off, no switch to fumble for. Also the lamps use a three way bulb, and the amount of times you touch the base is the level of light you receive. Just perfect for anyone who has back problems. I bought two of these and just enjoy looking at the clean lines not only of the steel base but the shades. Adesso also carries parts for this lamp if in the event you would need to replace any part of it. Great buy and if you do buy one or even two as I did you won't be disappointed. The shipping packaging was really good so nothing would happen to the lamp during delivery. I ordered them and two days later they were on our end tables, adding just the right decor to our living room. Plus the bases are very easy to keep clean. Perfect in every way.....

This lamp has the novel feature of turning on or off by simply touching any part of the base. This is convenient when it is placed at the entrance to a room - no fumbling for the switch. The design is lovely and simply, but we were disappointed with a small scratch on the metal base as well as a bit of discoloration on the shade.

I ordered the smaller version and this lamp for my bedroom. I wanted to have two different sizes, but did not realize the extreme size difference. I did not take measurements before hand like I usually do, but I honestly have never seen a lamp shade this big in my life. You could fit six heads in this thing. I considered keeping the lamp and putting the lamp shade from the smaller version of this lamp on it, which would work by the way, but I didn't want to purchase another lamp. So for those ordering just make sure to take measurements.

I ordered two of these lamps and returned them both. I ordered them because I wanted a touch sensitive lamp and I liked its stylish base. Do not order this lamp unless you want a BIG lamp. Though the dimensions are noted in the product description, this lamp is enormous and it was far too big for my bedroom night stands. There is a 20 inch version of this lamp that may work better for most tables. Second, the touch sensitive feature does not work with energy saver light bulbs. I had to touch the lamp several times to get it illuminated, only for it to quickly shut off. It worked fine with standard light bulbs. Overall, the size of the lamp made it boring; if it was going to take up that much space, it needed more than a simple elegance and its cream shade.
