Bought two of these to use as bedside lamps. Assembly is easy enough, even without instructions. It does use a 3-way bulb, if you prefer that. Provides a soft light, suitable for reading or relaxing before going to bed. Might not be bright enough for a particularly dark room. I like the style, which is modern contemporary I would guess, and it is sturdy without being too heavy. I like that the base is fairly small and does not take up too much table space.

Arrived quickly and packaged very well. The lamp is very sturdy and just beautiful. It is a bit larger than I thought it would be but it looks sleek and modern but also very sophisticated. It comes assembled and the dark color on the lamp shade is actually very nice wood that matches the base of the lamp. I love it and have received many compliments on it. I have it in my office.
