Soothing, comforting, inspiring,

These songs are a refuge -- a place to go when the world seems unfair or too chaotic, when I am overwhelmed by things that are out of my control. All I have to do is to listen to the voice of Nirinjan Kaur. This music drifts through me like a deep sigh; I relax, I become centered, I get back my perspective.I also listen to these tunes when I want to hear some good music. Nirinjan Kaur's voice is hauntingly beautiful -- natural, unselfconscious, and pure -- and in her voice you can hear reverence, sincerity, and joy. Furthermore, she is accompanied by soothing, resinous strings that provide a perfect counterpoint. It is difficult to describe in words the good energy that comes from this music. Take the time to listen to the preview clips for this album, and you'll hear what I mean. |
