Book Description

November 16, 2006 Cancer Metastasis - Biology and Treatment (Book 9)
This volume highlights the expression of specific adhesion molecules within human cancer tissues. It details the expression signatures from published DNA microarray and immunohistochemistry studies. 5.0 out of 5 stars Best Adhesion and Cytoskeletal Molecules in Metastasis book I've ever read!, July 14, 2009
This review is from: Cell Adhesion and Cytoskeletal Molecules in Metastasis (Cancer Metastasis - Biology and Treatment) (Hardcover)
I think it's safe to say that most of us have read our share of Cell Adhesion and Cytoskeletal Molecules in Metastasis literature. And I think we can all agree that a majority of these texts are full of pretentious scientific mumbo-jumbo and complex jargon that is rather difficult for the average American to understand. Well sir, this one is kind of the same... I've read it three times and I don't know what the heck it's talking about. Now I've received my GED from a somewhat prestigious public high school in Southern Arizona. And I don't want to toot my own horn, but I know a thing or two about what's what, but seriously, is it too much to ask for you people to provide me with a Cell Adhesion and Cytoskeletal Molecules in Metastasis for dummies book? Enough with this condescending b.s., do me a favor and give it to me straight doctors... Now that I have gotten my beefs out of the way, let me get into what I enjoyed about this read: Tracy Davis and Anne Cress work side by side with the chemistry of a young John Stockton and Karl Malone! Again, I don't really know what they are talking about, but I am no scientist. They both sound like pretty smart chicks and to me nothing is more attractive than an intellectual beauty. Now let's get down to brass tacks. I would like to say a word or two about the young Michael Jordan of cancer biology, a gentleman who goes by the name of Aaron Goldman. This guy is the real deal Holyfield! Now I can't stress this enough... Honestly, not a clue what he's talking about. Turns out this is not important, let me tell you why... He writes with the passion and ferocity of a young Earnest Hemmingway! This guy is the the tops! Tell you what, I'm gonna go out on a limb right now and make a somewhat bold prediction: Aaron Goldman will cure cancer by 2015! There I said it. Don't be a fool, pick up this book. You won't understand it but it's still a ripping good yarn!
