The watch looks and feels great; the band doesn't hurt my wrist like other watches. The instruction book, however, was awful. It was a bunch of instructions for other watches, not the ADP6002. It took a few minutes of playing around for me to figure out how to set the watch. Here's how to do it:

1) Make sure there is a little "t1" above the seconds. If there is a "t2" instead, hold the Start/Stop button for 3 seconds. (This is the part that was messing me up)

2) Hold the Set/Light button for a few seconds. The watch should say LIGHT and "OFF" or "ON" should be flashing.

3) Press the Mode button until the hour hand starts flashing. You can adjust it up and down by the Start/Stop and Lap/Reset buttons.

4) Press Mode to adjust the minute, second, and other settings.

5) Press Set/Light button when you are finished.

Cheers.

Good quality watch with all the features I wanted. Like the clean, uncluttered look, without lots of logos and words on the face. Instruction book is nearly worthless...so small and has 9 languages, but it is for ALL watch models, and in fact does not address this model. Could not figure out how to set it until I tried instructions for a watch that had an additional button, but got by the process. Almost returned the watch I was so frustrated. Pleased I (actually my wife) finally figured it out, since it is a very nice watch.

Worked fine for the first 6 months. Started resetting itself, screen would stop working. Cannot return. Spend a bit more money buying something of better quality.

I was severely disappointed with the purchase of this watch. I had read other reviews stating it was difficult to operate and change the time, but I figured I would be able to work around that and figure it out. Turns out I was not able to do that. The initial set up is no big deal that's the easiest thing to do. However, during a time change I was unable to simply change the hour without resetting the entire watch. That is only the beginning of the problems with this watch. For being a sport watch you would expect that you could use the stopwatch. when you are using the chronograph after less then a minute it reverts back to displaying the time. So if you are waiting for the start of a race and you look down and your watch hasn't started that's why. I have had several different sport watches and this one is by far the worst. the face gets scratched very easily and dirt and sweat get all clogged up in the band. The only positive is the giant numbers which make it very easy to read. I won't even start on the instruction booklet it is completely useless and is more bother then good.

Replaced a Nike watch with this Adidas Response watch for everyday use. The Adidas Response is lighter in weight then any of the Nike watches I've had. The band is much more comfortable and seems to offer plenty of adjustment options. The buttons seem to need less force then the Nike to respond. The light is a comfortable bright, not so bright as to blind and not obnoxious glowing green. The rectangular shape is comfortable. As mentioned by other reviewers the manual is worthless. I only was able to set the time by trial and error. After about 20 minutes of varing button combinations I was able to get the time set. The watch is light weight but feels that it will be durable enough for my use without being heavy on the wrist. Good value!

I read the reviews, looked at the specs, but didn't see anything about whether or not it's suitable for swimming.
shoot me for not really doing better investigating, maybe going to website to read specs. it wasn't apparent on Amazon specs that it's not a swimmer's watch.

i agree with all others too...the manual is idiotic. there are so many models in the manual...they should mark your watch so you know specifically what you have and can find the instructions. especially bc all the watches are different...

This watch looks and feels great! I've already gotten tons of compliments about it. Although the instructions may be confusing, the watch itself is very user friendly. After a few minutes of messing around with the watch I was able to set the time, date, and year with ease. The light up function is also very useful when trying to see the time at night. Highly recommend this watch even though some people say the instructions are confusing. You will not regret getting this watch.

I had it for a few days, and it is a very nice watch. There aren't any instructions included, but if u own or had a digital watch, there's no problem in figuring this one out! However, it be cheaper if you go to the seller's website and get it $10 cheaper. Although I don't want to give credit to this seller "mrwatch" since it didn't fix my problem, it be dumb to buy it off of amazon when you may find it cheaper elsewhere. Not cool that I didn't kn that!

Minus setting up the time, which is much better explained in past reviews than in the in box instructions, it's a great watch so far. Fits comfortably, numbers are large enough to easily read and (the best part in my opinion) the holes in the band are close enough to where you can perfectly adjust it to your wrist. Great watch, good times.

The watch is sort of OK it does tell the time after all
BUT
try to sort out the manual. Simply put it is just plain wrong. Luckily my young son is intuitive and we kind of have it working. At least the day and month show in the correct order; eg 11/9 not 9/11
