This product provides good protection for those of you (like me) who tend to strike with the half of your foot closer to your toes. The Adidas shin+instep guard only covers the top half of my foot up to the halfway point between my ankle and my toes, so this product does a good job of covering the rest. Unfortunately there's no padding for the toes. For reference, a medium is just big enough to fit a US (men's) size 9.5 foot.
