Editorial Reviews

"Like other Ann Coulter books, its cutting wit and take-no-prisoners style is backed up by thoroughly researched facts, including facts that most of the media refuse to report."
— Thomas Sowell, National Review

"The phrase 'political book of the year' is a usually an empty compliment, but if the phrase ever described any book, Adios America is it. In its pages, [Donald] Trump found the message that would convulse the Republican primary and upend the dynastic hopes of former-frontrunner Jeb Bush. Perhaps no single writer has had such immediate impact on a presidential election since Harriet Beecher Stowe."
—David Frum, The Atlantic

"...often-inflammatory, usually clever, sometimes laugh-out-loud funny..."
The Daily Beast

"Coulter's argument—that the media and our politicians conspire to keep information from us about the effects of mass immigration from non-Western countries, and that such immigration will destroy the fabric of the country—is virtually unassailable."
— Ben Shapiro, Townhall

"...the best book she's ever written..."
—Gavin McInnes, co-founder of Vice

From the Inside Flap

Ann Says, ¡No Mas!

Ann Coulter is back, more fearless than ever. In ¡Adios, America! she touches the third rail in American politics, attacking the immigration issue head-on and flying in the face of La Raza, the Democrats, a media determined to cover up immigrants’ crimes, churches that get paid by the government for their “charity,” and greedy Republican businessmen and campaign consultants—all of whom are profiting handsomely from mass immigration that’s tearing the country apart.

Applying her trademark biting humor to the disaster that is U.S. immigration policy, Ann Coulter proves that immigration is the most important issue facing America today. As Ann points out, if we cave to the Democrats’ scheme to bring in 30 million new liberal voters, we lose on everything else, too, from the economy to social issues to foreign policy to constitutionalism, to the very identity of our nation.

Immigration is the one issue where it’s nearly impossible to get the facts—or even the other side of the argument. But Ann blows the lid off the cover-up by government, both political parties, and media alike. A sampling of the scintillating insights and revelations in ¡Adios, America!:

On building a border wall: “People who live in gated communities tell us fences don’t work.”
On welfare: “Today’s immigrants aren’t coming here to breathe free, they’re coming to live for free.”
On how the media shut down the immigration debate: “It can be difficult to discuss America’s immigration policies when it’s considered racist merely to say, ‘We liked America the way it was.’”

The Democrats have always regarded “immigration reform” as a way to stuff the ballot box—starting with Ted Kennedy’s immigration law of 1965.

The Democrats know that by changing the makeup of our population they can deliver themselves a permanent majority. Immigration “amnesty” will do just that overnight; continuing our current legal immigration policy will do it within ten or twenty years. Ann Coulter shows what we need to do to stop them.

If you love your country, you need to read ¡Adios, America!

The thesis of Ann Coulter's book is simple: Since 1948, a majority of white voters have voted against Democrat Party Presidential candidates. The secular-progressives cannot win the debate amongst those of us who work and actually pay federal income taxes. With voter ID laws, Democrats, especially in places like Chicago and New Orleans, can no longer stuff ballot boxes. Instead, the Democrats want to import voters, while the owners of businesses and corporations want to import immigrants to suppress the cost of unskilled labor.

And guess who gets the bill? Middle-class America.

Coulter backs her claims with statistics. In 1970, one of every 21 people living in the U.S. were foreign born; today, one of seven people living here are foreign born. Sixty percent of legal immigrants are on some form of government assistance. Today, 20 percent of those in the U.S. speak a primary language other than English.

Moreover, although Coulter's brash style does not particularly resonate with me, I have yet to hear a single advocate for unlawful immigration refute ANY of her arguments. All they do is ignore her statements and call her a racist or a hater.

I highly recommend the book. It is time for Americans to wake up. Immigration, if managed correctly, could be a positive thing. However, WE the People -- those of us wake up everyday, go to work and pay our taxes -- should be the one's who get to decide how our nation's immigration system works, and not the unlawful immigrants.

Ann Coulter is a polemicist who is widely hated by Progressives of all parties (yes, there are plenty of Republican and Libertarian Progressives – as strange as that sounds) for the simple reason that she is both effective and very very funny. Because she won't pull her punches as all polite "conservatives" are consulted to do, Progressives work frantically to get her disqualified from your consideration before you listen to or read a word she says. There will almost certainly be a flood of dismissive “reviews” that will generically declare the facts, evidence, arguments, and history she provides as “lies all lies” without actually citing even one and demonstrating how and why it is false. For Progressives, that Coulter challenges their agenda, their spin of history, and their cherished fables is enough to try to have her burned at the op-ed stake.

But Ms Coulter has handled all this for so long and so skillfully that it is all less than water off a duck’s back. This book will be a monster best seller and more than a few Progressives will try to attack her and fail to muster anything more coherent than “well, I don’t like what you are saying!”. Don't let such cheap brain lint cheat you from this fun and informative read.

This book exposes the efforts by Progressives to dismantle America’s culture through a drastic change in who lives within America’s increasingly vague and porous borders and how they live once they are here. She explains and demonstrates the massive changes brought about by the “Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965” which was sponsored by Democrats Philip Hart of Michigan, Emanuel Celler of New York, and widely promoted and expanded over the decades by Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts.

Certainly, Ann Coulter is not a person I would call after having a bad day at work; however, when it comes to straight-talk, she is the queen of tough love.

The U.S. is the only nation in the world that has permitted an overt foreign invasion -- to the point where the invaders, here unlawfully, openly make demands of those of us who actually pay federal taxes while marching defiantly in the streets. Illegal immigration is great for Mexico and Central America. After all, American taxpayers fund the education and health care for their citizens, which means the corrupt oligarchs of these Mexico and Latin American can line their pockets at our expense.

In essence, U.S. taxpayers are underwriting Mexico's safety value -- the political antithesis of legendary historian Frederick Jackson Turner's "Frontier Thesis." Coulter's book addresses all of these issues, including the enormous cost of bilingual education that each and every state's taxpayers are forced to underwrite.

And just who benefits from this unregulated, unpatriotic, and unlawful invasion of America: the Democrat Party, a cabal that has been soundly rejected in Presidential elections by white taxpayers since the early 1950s; and teachers' unions, always on he lookout for more bodies and more teachers to pay dues. The Democrat Party is he biggest winner in this gigantic immigration scam. Not only to the Democrats seize a portion taxpayers' wages to provide a bountiful number of government benefits to immigrants to buy votes, they also receive campaign contributions from the teachers' unions who receive the added educators associated with bilingual education.
