4.0 out of 5 stars
First EP, May 25, 2007
This review is from: Adios (Audio CD)
Maritime's has the following tracks...
1.Adios(Glass Floor)
2.Someone Has to Die(Glass Floor)
3.Down to the River(exclusive)
4.Birds of Ireland(exclusive)
5.In Your Arms(exclusive)
This EP is out of print from Foreign Leisure. It sounds like Glass Floor because it is from the sessions produced by J Robbins. The songs possess a lot of activity like keyboards, guitars(two or three), sound effects, and stuff similar to Wood/Water. Poppy tunes.
Davey and Dan write some gems, I think. However, they aren't up to par with We,The Vehicles...Adios EP is very soft, thick and beautiful though. "Someone Has to Die" is an ultimate song though with its acceptance and cheeriness!
We, The Vehicles is more bitng and grooving. I enjoy every tune on here throughly, but not as much as their sophomore album.
The last track, "In Your Arms" has an interesting feel with the keyboards, synthesizer, sounds, drums, guest guitarist from pele, and lyrics. Very soothing and 80s.
