My 4 1/2 month old LOVES this bottle! From the beginning, my daughter was exclusively breast fed; she took to this bottle instantly (as opposed to the others that I have tried). I think the reason is because the nipple isn't as long as the traditional bottles. I've read the other reviews stating that the shorter nipple doesn't cause proper latching; my baby has absolutely no issue in that matter (although, every baby is different). The following are the pros and reasons why my baby and I love this bottle:

1. Instant latching. No trying to wiggle the bottle for 10 seconds on her upper lip, hoping that she'll latch.
2. No gagging! She just happily sucks and drinks...no "pre-meal" hurling (if you know what I mean)
3. No extra parts to clean. This is especially a positive coming from a former Dr. Brown's bottle user.

The cons:

1. The amount readings are difficult to see when filling the bottle. Wish the ounces were more visible.
2. If not sealed properly, yes...it will leak. But, if sealed properly, I shook this bottle vigorously and no liquid came out of it; so, I am curious to how the leaking is occurring with other users. TIP: the silicone disk on the inside of the vent cap needs to be 100% DRY along with the cap itself, which will create a secure seal. Also, the most important thing that I've found in preventing the leaks( other than making sure that the nipple cover is secure to the bottle) is taking your fingertips and pressing on the center of the disk, making sure that there is no open spaces between the center nob and silicone disk. If there are open areas, try rotating it half a turn and the problem should be solved. Might sound complicated, but it's not brain surgery.
3. Like other reviews have mentioned, having to read the remaining ounces in the bottle while the nipple is facing down is quite obnoxious.

Overall, this bottle beats the others hands down. Don't get me wrong, the other bottles are also functional; but, because this is the only one that my little one doesn't gag on and has practically the same body language as when I'm feeding her, I give this bottle 5 strong stars! But, every baby is different, so....to each his own!

My baby would not take formula or a bottle AT ALL for the past month, and with myself and my husband starting back to work full-time we needed her to be bottlefed sometimes. She took this bottle the very first time we used it and she'll even drink formula out of it which is a God-send now that she is starting daycare. She did tend to get some milk running down her face when we first started using it, but once she worked out how to latch on to a smaller surface it is drip-free! Yes the bottle does leak...if you don't follow the directions in the box, so read them!! Had no problem with leaks as long as you follow the instructions. Plus no nipple/lid/the million other parts a Dr. Browns comes with, to wash anymore, just three peices, which also means less places for bacteria to hide =] Love this bottle, I ordered 2 more the first day I used it!

This bottle was the only one my breastfed baby would take, and even this bottle took a week or two of consistent practice for her to finally embrace.

Some tricks:

1. Warm up your breast milk in the storage bag (or breastpump bottle) in a bin of hot water.

2. Put the cap over bottle carefully making sure the nipple lines up just right with the small cup indentation in the cap. Invert the bottle and then pour in the warm milk.

3. Make sure you screw the bottom of the bottle on carefully without misthreading it- that is usually my error and then when I flip the bottle over I get leaks everywhere. Nothing worse than wasted breastmilk!!!

I actually found this bottle easier to clean than other bottles (the failed ones we tried prior to this one).
