This is the only bottle our exclusively breastfed baby will take. I recommend it those who waited a little too long to introduce a bottle as it is somewhat breast like in its squishiness. The way it breaks up into different parts is also a plus as it makes it a lot easier to clean than standard bottles.

I wasn't sure if about trying this one out after trying the old Adiri Natural Nurser that had some minor leaking issues.

I have to say I like this new version alot more! I have also figured out what makes it leak - the warming cap! If you put the warming cap on AFTER you pour milk in it, it will break the seal at the valve, causing leaks. Also if you put the bottle cap on, turn it upside down, and then put the warming cap on, it pushes air into the bottle, and out the nipple, causing leaks at the nipple. SO if you need to use the warming cap, put it on before adding milk.

I like this one alot better because you can add milk right side up - no more flipping the bottle up side down. The nipple is screw on, so the rim part is hard plastic. The nipple shape looks similar to the old one, except there are some circular pattern underneath it but you can't feel it. It seems just a little softer than the old one. Otherwise, pretty much the same. (Since we can fill it right side up, I don't quite understand the need of having the bottom cap screw on. Maybe it's just for cleaning purposes?) Also because of this, there is no need to flip the bottle, hence, no leakages at the nipple when you put the cap on. I've tried to turn it upside down anyway, it does not leak if you push the cap down tightly. It actually CLICKS a little bit. The old version just holds the cap tight via friction. This one if you push down tightly, you can even unscrew the nipple portion along with the cap altogether.

I would forget about the warming cap and just pour it into a small breastmilk storage bottle and submerge in hot water to warm it up. Much faster that way anyway, and no leaks.

Material-wise, this is better quality than the old one. Although the body may feel like toy type of plastic.

My little guy was so finicky, he wouldn't even take a pacifier. He wanted nothing but the real thing and I had to find something because he soon would be going to day care. I must have purhased at least 15 different bottles to try before finally coming across the Adiri line. This little bottle is amazing! The nipple is short and small so my son didn't gag like he did with other bottles and it is slightly textured so he doesn't mind how it feels in his mouth. My only advice to give regarding this bottle is to be sure that the bottom is securely tighten before putting the milk in. :)

This Bottle has been great for us. My breastfed daughter hates all bottles, and I mean all of them! We tried so many and we could only force her to eat 1/2 of an ounce. So I figured we would give this bottle a try. The day it came I didn't realize it was at my house until I had just finished feeding my daughter, I still decided to try it, and she took and ounce with out crying. Now I will not say that she takes it great all of the time, but it is a huge improvement from any other bottle we have tried. Plus,we have not had any of the problems listed in other reviews. The NxGen bottles have improvements so I can fill from the top, and do not leak when closed. Great Bottle, We have already ordered the next stage! Now I know when I leave for work that my daughter will at least be eating some!

My first breastfed baby would go between bottle and breast with no problem. We used Avent bottles with her and they worked great. No leaks, easy to read printing on the bottle, BPA free, easy to wash and use. Our second baby was sort of a bottle-taking disaster. She just refused to take bottles. She would scream and cry and drink just enough to not starve until I got home to nurse her. She did this for months with us trying to give her a bottle once a week. We tried several different brands of bottles and this was the one she liked the best. Finally she would take pumped milk! I was a little bummed that this bottle was so expensive but if my kid wasn't going to starve herself, I'd pay.
There were a lot of things I didn't like about the bottles. I thought that they were a little difficult to put together so that they did't leak where the bottle body meets the base; the base discolored after two uses; I think vents don't really work and just make things more difficult to clean; 4 parts seemed like too many, it's practically impossible to read the measurement markings on the side; it's crazy expensive. But I accepted all these cons because my daughter liked this bottle.
That was three months ago. I bought 5 of these bottles since my daughter takes 3 bottles while I'm at work. TWO of the nipples have broken. The nipple is a silicone soft nipple permanently attached to a rigid base that screws onto the body of the bottle. Two of the silicone nipples have detached from the rigid ring at the base. This is with gentle cleaning and going in a bottle basket on the top shelf of our dishwasher. This has rendered those two completely useless since there are no replacement nipples.
