Pony 9166 Corner Clamp
I borrowed four of these clamps from a friend, to assemble a small frame.
Pros:
- Inexpensive for a corner clamp
- Opens to 3", which is wide for this type of clamp
- All four borrowed clamps were perfectly square
- Can tighten a clamp sufficiently to hold the work
Cons:
- Practical mostly for light duty/small projects
- Clamp faces are only 5/8" high
- Minimally sized, aluminum frame
- Lacks a quick adjustment feature
Other:
- With a clamp on each corner, a project as small as 6-13/16" square (inside dimensions), can be clamped
- To turn the handle [quickly], you'll need to raise the clamp above a flat surface, as the handle sits near the clamp bottom.
Summary:
For light duty or small projects, these are OK.
