New Adjustable Computer Laptop Desk Bed Table Desk W/ Drawer

Pros - It's well designed (i.e. adjustments for thigh height book angle). My wife likes it a lot for propping up her books in bed while breastfeeding the new baby. Top surface is smooth and well varnished. It even has a drawer in the side.

Cons - The material is pine, which wouldn't be so bad, but there are many knots and the lower surfaces were not sealed. There was an incredible amount of sap or pine resin covering the lower parts of the device. It was really sticky and has to be cleaned before you can use it. Some of the cuts made in the factory on the lower pieces, (i.e. notches to hold the angle of the book) were not clean and properly post-process sanded.

You get a little bit more than what you paid for here. To make this device out of higher grade wood, professional cuts, have it sanded, stained & sealed would have added considerably to the cost & weight. I thought about making this kind of thing by hand, but it would have taken a while and wouldn't have been as well designed and adjustable as is this device. I think it was money reasonably spent for a short term needed device (i.e., until the baby can go the night without feeding). But, if you want a laptop reading device to go the long haul, consider something made with higher quality components.

Received the item to give to my daughter for Christmas and was extremely disappointed. Only the top part of the laptop desk is stained, polished, and varnished. The bottom part of the desk is just unfinished wood. My daughter caught a splinter from the unfinished work. The desk also shows signs of some type of mildew smearing which is horrible.

Spoke with the company regarding information and they said they would refund the money once I submitted photos showing proof of damage. I sent the photos and the company reniged on refunding my money until I send the product back. Now I have to pay further shipping costs to send back this item days before Christmas.

I highly don't recommend any further business with this company. A company who says one thing and takes it back is not trustworthy of their word or their products.

I love everything about this table. It is so helpful for when am in my bed or couch using my computer. The part that holds my netbook is just high enough for me to write comfortably while using my computer. The material is solid as far as i can tell, and believe me after a few earlier tables who even broke before i received them, this is very sturdy.

The only downside for me so far is the legs height. A few more inches would have been perfect for me. Right now i have to sometimes lower my head to read the netbook screen. This problem is probably for netbook users, since laptops have usually bigger or higher screens.

The pillow on my old lap desk ripped, and I wanted a replacement, but I wanted to move away from the pillow. So, after a bit of searching, I found this one and felt it'd be a nice investment. Boy, was I wrong. It falls apart and won't stay together. It's made of solid pine (not necessarily a bad thing) but the workmanship is awful. I might be able to make it serviceable with a drill and some screws... Ultimately, I wouldn't waste your money or time with this item.

The item is poorly constructed, with many parts of the wood unfinished. The side-box is barely big enough to hold a few pens and definitely not high enough for a decent mouse--I was hoping to store my laptop mouse there; and the laptop area is not big enough for a medium-sized laptop. I can easily see this thing breaking down with heavy use, or from a child sitting on it!

this seemed solid, first night had to tap in wood pegs. still coming out. and ouchies my fingers got caught. think this should come with wood glue. would not recommend. sorry

I really like this multi-versatile type laptop, breakfast in bed table, desk I just purchased. I had read all of the other reviews some good, some
bad,however, I decided more on my needs, than what I read. I really like the versatility of this table, I am able to use this table as an in bed tray,then use it as a writing table,finally a laptop table. I had no problem with the legs falling down once opened,or the draw not opening or any of the other problems others had mentioned. My laptop fit well on the surface, as did a full dinner plate and a drinking glass when used as a food table.There was ample room for my mouse when I used the table with my laptop,more than enough room when I used the table as a writing desk. I would not recommend this table as a portable table,my portabilty has been from the bed to the couch, this was it. I am disabled this is just what I had been looking for when I am immobile, the table worked very, very well for me. The table is too heavy to be used as a portable table. I am definitely considering getting another one as I like this one for the price paid,the workmanship,the many many other uses I know I am going to have for another one.I personally would recommend this table.

This laptop table is nicely made from solid pine wood. I was afraid it will be heavy, but it's light enough to easily manipulate. It has few features which I don't have use for like adjustable legs (they are good in default shorter length), tray can be inclined and drawer. The drawer is quite small and I don't know what can be used for. It's big enough for 17" laptop and there is still space for mouse next to it.
I think it was good purchase for the amount of money I paid.

The Item is well made. It is solid pine with only the legs not finished with varnish. The drawer is a nice touch too!

The cons.. The braces that run in between the legs on both sides fell out on me. I put some super glue in and haven't had a problem since. I do wish the legs where varnished as well. If I am wearing shorts it's slightly rough on the legs, but not too big of a deal.

It's slightly smaller then the plastic one you can get online and at walmart. I went through two plastic ones that broke multiple times, and decided to go for this. So far it has outlasted the both of them combined.

Just got this and love it! Minus the quality though.

I would be willing to pay more for a better quality wood and better assembly.

The wood is really cheap, and their is more glue holding it together than screws.

As far as the table tilting the wood peg that holds it into the notch on the back would probably snap.
As I have a heavier gaming computer at 5 pounds.
