4.0 out of 5 stars Great Table
This art table is great! Highly Recommended! The table top is smooth and HUGE, I didn't realize it was going to be as big as it is until I got it set up! The holders on the sides are nice, and hold things well. Very sturdy.

2.0 out of 5 stars bad packaging and a cheap top
The frame for this table is alright, but the top is not sturdy and the way it is shipped, it came with dented corners and buckled edges. the plastic trays are kind of silly, not very useful. It is a little awkward to put together, and the screw to put the brush holder on are the wrong type. Over all, a big disappointment. save the 30 bucks for shipping to get something...

-Complaints:
Like a few others, I had some trouble putting it together. I thought I got it together fine, then realized I put it together backwards, so make sure you pay attention to the labels and directions. Having another person help and a nice tool kit helps speed things along.
Although the table is solid some of the holes didn't match up. I couldn't get one of the screws into the bottom of it, and another one for the cup holder didn't go in, so no cup holder for me.
Like everyone else, my box came almost in peices! It was torn apart! Styrofoam and cardboard were all over the place. I couldn't believe it! It had been opened up and beat bad, I was suprised all the peices were inside, but thankfully they were and the parts and table had no dents or scratches.

Over all I give the table itself 5 Stars, awesome.
I take a star away just for the trouble of getting it together, and the poor shipping quality. It was quick,(less than a week for reg ground shipping) but torn to bits.

3.0 out of 5 stars Could use some more quality, May 7, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Adjustable Drawing and Craft Table (Kitchen)
1) Surface hinges are pretty flimsy. Lean on the top - bend
2) Assembly instructions were horrible. Not well detailed.
3) Should have checked sale price at A.C Moore.
4) Screw holes on surface to hold side utility trays aren't accurate, I couldn't fit one of the trays.
5) Metal utility 'holders' on the side are hard to reach. Too out of the way.
6) Horizontal support bars should be more substatnial - they make convenient foot rests and are somewhat flimsy

4.0 out of 5 stars Table is Decent, But Frustrating to Assemble, September 27, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Adjustable Drawing and Craft Table (Kitchen)
I am quite pleased with the Adjustable Art Table. However, assembling the table was quite frustrating at times. Connecting the table top to the stand required two people and the screws were somewhat difficult to get in or even fit in some cases. Additionally, the metal tool provided to screw in the screws eventually became stripped and useless. I recently put together two items from another retailer and found the experience extremely easy to follow and fun, while this art table experience almost made me want to return the product to avoid the annoying obstacles that popped up. All in all, this is a fine table.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, very pleased!, August 5, 2006
This review is from: Adjustable Drawing and Craft Table (Kitchen)
Took only 3 days to get here. Very inexpensive compared to other drafting tables I've researched. Directions weren't hard, then again, I like putting these kind of things together. The only complaint I had was that the corners were damaged during shipping. 4 out of 5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Table, June 29, 2004

I ordered this online, came within a week. This was very easy instructions to put together, its a beautiful art table, looks just like the photo. I'm going to use it for sketching and doing my textile designs. Its a real bargain compared to what the art stores are selling similar tables for.

4.0 out of 5 stars All is well...but not perfect!, January 18, 2007
This review is from: Adjustable Drawing and Craft Table (Kitchen)
My 17 year old daughter is delighted with her art table. It does everything she needs it to do. However, as many others have reported, the corner of the table top arrived damaged...not unusable, but more of an appearance issue than anything. Amazon was quick to remedy the problem with a partial refund and we are satisfied. My daughter and her boyfriend assembled the table in about an hour. It would have gone more quickly had the directions been more explicit. There are pictures only; no words to describe the pictures, so assembly is subject to each individual's interpretation of the drawings!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice table!, December 30, 2004
This review is from: Adjustable Drawing and Craft Table (Kitchen)
My 9 year old daughter loves her new art table! It is definately worth the money. One small concern was that it had several gouges around the edges from shipping. It looked as though it wasn't protected enough in the box as the gouges were in the exact places that the plastic straps were wrapped very tightly around the box. Lucky for us, though, all but one of the marks are on the underside of the table. It's a great size, has lots of neat compartments on the sides, and she loves it! Best of all, I see it's now cheaper than when I bought it 3 weeks ago!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect Drawing Table for my needs, January 3, 2008
By
Ed (Mesa, AZ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Adjustable Drawing and Craft Table (Kitchen)
I needed more space to design and capture my ideas on where I could spread things out and work. This drawing table is the perfect choice. It was easy to assemble. I think I looked at the assembly instructions three times to figure which screw to use. It was pretty self-explanatory what went where.

Drawbacks: It is one height which is the right height for me to work when I'm seated. But, it would be nice if it could move up and down. I like to think on my feet and I would like to be able to work while standing. The plastic trays are a little flimsy, but functional.

Advantage: Price, price, price. A drawing table that could move up and down would cost a bunch more, so I think on my feet and sit to write or lean over onto the table top. So, it evens out. You just can't beat the price tho.
