The vest looked promising. I loaded the sandbags into the compartments and tried it on - no exercising, just put it on and buckled the three straps. Found the belt loop straps loose and was able to pull several of them off without any effort. The tops of the straps were not sewn completely through.

Wrote to the company that shipped it and they were going to send out another vest minus the sandbags. Got a call a day later that they were going to refund the entire cost since they are discontinuing this vest. Apparently, this vest has defects - DO NOT BUY! Look for another...

Rated two stars since the vest will stay on my body as long as I don't jump around.

Zero stars. This vest rips easly and the weights become projectiles for active users. Do not purchase this product. The seller is not taking responsilbility to remove this dangerous and low-quality item from the marketplace.

I bought this vest for doing weighted dips. It seems to be very sturdy, the bags fit snugly into the pockets, and it's fairly easy to adjust the weight.

It's less expensive than other models, so I was skeptical about it's construction, but I'm glad I made the purchase.

I have owned this product for around 2 weeks now and i am very satisfied with it.
The quality is pretty good and does not show signs of wear and tear as of yet.
I recommend this for anyone interested in buying a 40LB weight vest.

Straps don't tighten at all. Thats probably why they broke on some people. You might as well not even include straps, because they don't tighten at all. Also, it's a very flimsy vest for so much heavy weight. There are many better vests out there, I was just hoping for a great deal. I guess I was wrong.

got this vest for the same price as most 20 lb. vests. the straps don't really hold tight when you start moving and there was a tear in the material when i got it but overall it was a good value for the price.

Unfortunately, this product is not a one-size-fit-all....it came out too big for me and I couldn't use it effectively. At least I can use spare sand bags for my older vests...

i really like my vest its easy to use. simply reduce weight not wanted or needed. its a really good strength trainer. wear it around the house, great product.

I bought this vest with the option to add an addtional 30 lbs. The vest was just awkward to wear and the weight caused the starps to dig lines into my shoulders. I couldnt wear it more than an hour at a time without being in alot of pain from the straps, NOT the weight. I'd recommend buying a different one for a little more for comfort reasons

had nabbed his for $19.99 on its way out. works just fine, the only part of it that seems "failed" is the sacks that hold the sand are not sewn well but the sand is further encapsulated in plastic so no issues with leaking.

In the end it was worth the money.
