This flower box holder is expandable to accommodate boxes from 24? to 36? in length and up to 7.5? in width and adjustable to fit over most balcony or deck railings. Use the short end of the enclosed L-shaped clasp for 2? to 4? railings (wrought iron, aluminum, or vertical wood). Use the long end for 5? to 6? railings (2 x 4 to 2 x 6 railings). We recommend pairing this with our flower box window kits as a colorful combination to your garden railing.

Very sturdy coated-metal frame. We live on an upper-level apartment with a balcony that has a plastic/vinyl rail with a rounded-top (see pictures). It was very hard to find a box that could properly fit over the oddly-shaped rail. This holder did well through some very strong storms without ever shifting on the railings. Great that it is adjustable; fit our window boxes nicely. Definitely will buy again.
