5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money
I am a moderate sewer. I used to sew many of my childrens' clothes now I do it just for me and not that often. I mainly use it for skirts and dresses. I plan on making night gowns and robes. The wheels worked quite well for me and I managed to get my figure fairly close. It is very easy to adjust and you can adjust it to your own height as well. All in all I find it a...

2.0 out of 5 stars Wrong Size
My wife and I sat at the computer and looked closely at all the options before we made this purchase. We ordered a Medium. Both my wife and I agree that during the purchase process, we remembered that the option for a Medium size was available and that was the option we chose. Needless to say, we were sent a HUGE, manequinn. I believe this is a little trick to push...

All in all I find it a suitable form for me.
It is very light so moving it about is not difficult you can swivel it on the pole to be able to view all sides easily. I have always wanted my own form but didn't want to spend alot of money and this is just the right form.
It is also very easy to set up since most of it comes assembled. Shipping weight is about 8 lbs. I say this is a good buy for the casual or novice sewer.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wrong Size, January 1, 2010

My wife and I sat at the computer and looked closely at all the options before we made this purchase. We ordered a Medium. Both my wife and I agree that during the purchase process, we remembered that the option for a Medium size was available and that was the option we chose. Needless to say, we were sent a HUGE, manequinn. I believe this is a little trick to push off the Super oversized manequinn's that no-one wants because they are soooo huge. I went back on line to see if I could re-create the purchase process to see if maybe I had made an error. The exact model we clicked on is no longer available. So now, there is no way to prove that we could have possibly selected the Medium option. I am not the only person that has been stuck with this problem. I read another review where the customer had the exact same problem as we did. Now ....that customer review is no where to be found. HUMMMMMM. what's up with that? Side note: The box has the weight of the contents as 19.5 lbs. I weighed the box and...yup...19.5 lbs. They charge for shipping 30 lbs! I'm sure the shipper has some handy dandy excuse for why they do this....but the bottom line is, the customer is paying the extra for some reason. I would not do business with this outfit again unless they were willing to talk to me on the phone or email me at [...] and offer to send me another mannequin that is actually a MEDIUM size. Respectfully, Sergeant DeYoung

I purchased this Dress form for christmas for my daughter. I like the product, seems to be good quality. I read all the reviews, as you are doing now, and found this to be the best one for the money. However the ad is miss leading. It shows the form to be completly adjustable from petite to large as i percieved it to be, because there is no place to on the site to pick different sizes. When i recieved it, it was size 16 to 20. Ten sizes to big for my daughter. I emailed the manufacturer twice about exchanging it, and there was no reply. Amazon was great about making it right with me. FYI

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor service, December 16, 2009
This review is from: Adjustable Mannequin Dress Form Dressform For Sewing & Apparel Design (Kitchen)
I ordered this sewing mannequin for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas. The description said that they had 6 available in-stock and I ordered it in plenty of time for Christmas. I called several days after when I was promised delivery. Amazon told me that the 3rd party supplier (TheBestMartOnLine) had canceled the order because they were out of stock. I received no notice from Amazon nor TheBestMartOnLine. Needless to say, it's too late to order from another supplier for Christmas. Poor, poor, service from both Amazon and TheBestMartOnLine. Won't buy from either of them again.
