I'm on my second 26 cm Admeitior pan. It's a great pan even without the thermometer, but before I had this it seems I could never get my pancakes right - the inside would be gooshy, or the whole thing would burn. With omelets, I just couldn't get that nice, consistent fluffy texture all the way through. Now they turn out great. If you have an electric stove, this is particularly useful since you have less control over the temperature.
So why am I on my 2nd pan? Well, the pan says it's dishwasher safe (the thermometer part is not). I always hand-washed it, but my daughter put the pan in the dishwasher and the sensor inside the pan broke. The removable digital piece with the display and buttons still works great when tested on my new pan - it didn't go through the dishwasher. I hightly recommend this pan, but don't put it in the dishwasher. |
