As a supervisor of administrative assistants, this was the one book I actually found helpful for training new admins. Too many of the other books available focused more on the operational items of an office (e.g. computer, copiers, phones, etc.) Really? Most new people stepping into this role have grown up so techno-savy that training is unnecessary. However, this book assumes the operational areas and moves right into the many various hats an admin will wear and how best to be effective wearing each hat. Having worked in a support staff role for over 30 years even I enjoyed the refresher course this book gave. I will definitely use it for future training of new staff.

This is a book worth buying. If you take your job seriously and really want a successful career, this book will help you a lot. I think this book can be a vaulable guide for many people.

This book provides some useful suggestions to help support staff grow in supporting an administrator. Ideas can be put into place easily.

This book is very helpful to understand the administrative assistant work, her multiple functions and how to become a very successful professional.
