Great and New Ideas, March 19, 2007
This review is from: Administrative Excellence: Revolutionizing Our Value In The Workplace (Paperback)
So often, a book for Administrative Assistants has the "same ole stuff." While this book certainly covers some of the basics, there is a new and fresh approach to the profession. It is written as if the PA (Professional Assistant), as she calls us, is indeed a partner with their manager. The accountability and responsibilities are spelled out in a very professional manner. I truly enjoyed the read.

Today, in most organizations, administrative professionals conribute significantly to organizational performance. Good organizations prize them for the value they bring, while others, to their peril, may see them simply as overhead. Author Erin O'Hara Meyer, with 15 years of senior administraitive experience, outlines in clear, practical terms what it takes to be good admin person. Her book is filled with useful tips, techniques and self-study aids to enhance the reading expereince.
