A Very Nice Book but Some Inacuracies,

This book is a really good reference. It includes a lot of information. Some section are a bit repetitive and make it look like the authors knew how to use the "Cut and Paste" function of their word processor. The book also contains some information that is no longer true (ie: the backingstore option) but that's to be expected when a project is under active development. In conclusion, this is a good book if you are really into making use of Wine to run your Windows application efficiently. |
