Book Description

Three years of pain and suffering have driven Jeremy to the limits of love. Amy is determined to help Jeremy make the decision of his life. She forces him down an emotional path of memories that will lead him to answers he desperately seeks.

After reliving moments that changed his life, Jeremy will not give Amy up without a fight. Knowing that love was stronger than loyalty, his commitment to Lisa hangs in the balance between that which he wants and that which he needs.

While reminiscing about the past, Jeremy vividly remembers how strong his love is for his wife, and why he chose her over Lisa in the first place. Through his admissions, Jeremy must finally make a choice between his true love Amy, and his new love Lisa.

About the Author

My name is Michael Ribisi. I am the new author of the title "Admissions." I live in Florida and I can tell you one thing for sure. In the heat of the afternoon, there is nothing better then being inside with the air conditioning blasting on your back then writing at the computer. I love to write and have for some time. I have great stories in mind and love to create an interesting tale for all ages.

Jeremy is under going a kind of therapy. His therapist is his beautiful wife. He is a man so consumed with his loss, that he has completely forgot all that he has. And he's even blocked out the terrible loss which sent his life into a downward spiral. Through conversations with his wife he is guided through their shared past. As the reader follows Jeremy through his memories, there is always the feeling that something is off. But the revelation of what that strangeness about Jeremy is comes only at the reveal in the final chapter. Easily read in a day, it is a very different kind of story telling style. But given the revelation that Jeremy must come to, the style of the narrative is warranted and sticking with the story is well worth it given that the story proceeds at a fast pace an every step contributes toward the conclusion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story, great characters! October 9, 2011
By Carbs
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great story, not your typical "love story". The author keeps your interest and sparks your curiosity. While you are reading you begin to feel as though you really know the characters. I highly recommend Admissions, by Michael Ribisi. Be prepared because once you begin reading, you may not want to stop until you get to the amazing ending.

5.0 out of 5 stars Suspenseful to the end! December 29, 2011

A suspenseful story you will find impossible to put down. This story is full of laughter, love and light. It reminds us all that relationships should be cherished, and the lessons we learn when we take the ones we love for granted.

1.0 out of 5 stars Most immature book I have ever read! March 30, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I do not understand this book receiving so many 5 star reviews but maybe the author has 5 really close friends that liked it.

I have not read something so immature and horribly executed as this book in a very long while. I really hate to speak so poorly of the book but this was too much of a let down and I wanted to review it for future buyers.

Did I miss the part of the book description that said this was a young adult book? I take that back. I love to read young adult novels every now and then. I don't know what you would call this book. Maybe a school assignment?

I wanted to write a review that included the phrases "gag me with a spoon" and "slap me with a wet noodle" immediately after completing this book. The characters actions reminded me of how people acted in junior high school over boyfriends. Yet in this story we are talking about a girl in nursing school acting this way about a man that LIVES with her.

I would NOT recommend this book to my friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Put.. Amazing December 25, 2011
By Matt Q
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was amazing from start to finish. I was on the edge of my seat while reading and LITERALLY could NOT put it down once I started. I found myself going through different scenarios to figure out what might happen next. It has been a long time since a book has captured my interest in the way this did. Bravo Mr. Ribisi, for your work was very appreciated. Hope to read more from this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not your typical love story! August 22, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The main grievance I have with this book is the cover. I know, sounds silly, but it almost prevented me from downloading it. After reading the book, I get where the graphics come from, but I feel the impression it gives doesn't seem to match the story. There - now that's off my chest. Let's talk a little about the actual story.

I had a feeling I knew where the writer was going from the beginning, but I do admit that I questioned myself a few times. Most of the book is given to us in memories and I felt the author did a fairly good job switching back and forth with minimal confusion. The characters were developed nicely and I found myself laughing and crying with them.

Overall, it was a great read and worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Captured me July 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this book at first but it captured my interest enough in the beginning that I kept reading. And reading. Before I knew it I was so wrapped up in the story that I couldn't put it down. I had to know where it was leading and had a feeling that there would be a surprise at the end. I was right - the ending didn't disappoint. Jeremy's tale took me through a range of emotions as I saw and felt the events that unfolded through the eyes of the characters and the pages kept turning as I simply had to find out what was going to happen next.

This book reads like it was written by a child. The author used profanity for adjectives. I didn't care to read any further than the first few pages. A very badly written book.

I couldn't get into the story with all the profanity.
