Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium Upgrade from CS4[OLD VERSION]

With the CS5 release, Adobe hits one out of the park with this upgrade! Many new features and performance upgrades have been included which make this release probably the most valuable one provided by Adobe in recent years. If you are a Premiere Pro user, and I assume that you are as this and After Effects are the major components above and beyond PhotoShop, you will be very pleased with the striking performance enhancements provided by the new Mercury Playback Engine. This component leverages the NVidia GPU processing cores in your GTX2xx or higher level video card to greatly reduce rendering times for your projects, and to provide a greatly enhanced real-time experience while working on your projects. If you use an AVCHD camcorder, this release will blow your socks off as it is now very easy to edit without resorting to transcoding your clips to another easier to edit format.

This version will allow you to upgrade your existing CS4 release of Production Premium to CS5, including academic licensed versions if that is a concern to you. I wasn't particularly impressed with the features added in CS4, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the CS5 upgrade.

I have had the product for several weeks now, and I can tell you that Adobe has made several worthwhile changes. The new healing brush is just abosolutley fantastic and the new color choices and ease of layers is a plus. I would recomend this to any serious photagrapher.
