Not for Novices...,

After Effects is a great program for creating effects for video. The best attribute that After Effects has is its ability to let you create your logo or image, etc., in PhotoShop and then import it as a composition so you can animate it. The caveat is, however, that AE is at times extremely complex, especially more so in the Production Bundles and from previous versions. AE is worth the cash and definitely worth the time to master...if you can before the next upgrade!
