I have used photoshop for my web work since the mid-1990s and have resisted making the change to Fireworks and the learning curve involved. I finally made the switch and I'm glad I did. Fireworks is more geared to web work whereas Photoshop's focus has always been print, with web design features added. The learning curve isn't as steep as I thought it would be and Fireworks has some great tutorials to help with your transition. It really has a better work flow than Photoshop and seems to be more intuitive. I'm glad I finally made the switch. I would highly recommend the product to those getting started in web design and those ready to take on the gold standard in web design.

Excellent -- very pleased with the software. I had used an older version of this software (Mac format)-- very user friendly. This updated version (IBM format) is every bit as user friendly. Program allows one to do complex graphic designs with minimal effort and in a very short period of time. Excellent to do graphics for print and web. Very powerful program. Highly recommend for users who have limited knowledge of Photoshop and for those with limited graphic design experience.
