I loved Fireworks CS3 even though it had a ton of issues such as frequent crashes, rendering bugs, poor color management and primitive UI. It's been a lifesaver so many times that I had come to accept it's failings.

So you can imagine that I was really looking forward to CS4. After all it's called an UPGRADE. What a joke. Do not buy this software. It's beyond terrible:
- It crashes just as frequently
- It has a less primitive but completely bloated UI with tons of annoying 'improvements'/bugs. Notable is that the properties UI keeps vanishing to only reappear on restart.
- It re-formated and broke the text layout of all my CS3 files
- It removed system font aliasing so none of the text looks right anyway
- I could go on but you get the idea

SO LAME. Adobe, get your act together.

This app is so bad I don't really even want to use it. Bugs galore. Not to worry, the upgrade to CS5 only costs $150. Come on Adobe, you can do better than this.

This software isn't working for me at all. At first it was very temperamental and would only work some of the time. Recently I had to move everything to a new hard drive and Fireworks stopped working entirely. The fact that this software has been out for over a year and still won't even launch is unbelievable.
