First let me correct a comment made about Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition 1.0: It works just fine with JPEG (.JPG) images in fact I use it to import other graphic format files and then save them as .jpg files. PhotoDeluxe Business Edition does everything that 90 percent of folks need to do. Plus they can do it easily because, unlike so many other graphic programs, PhotoDeluxe is completely user friendly and easy to use. Every task from touching up old photos to making photo collages have guides to take you from step one to the finish. This is the program I always use for scanner output and it has camera and photo processing support as well. This program has templates to make your photos work with cards, calendars, business cards, and much neat and fun stuff but the real news is how easy it is to use PhotoDeluxe in every basic aspect of manipulating images. By using guides and filters to do things like "warp" or "sharpen" or edit with paint tools, you are firmly in control of your task. There are too many tools to list them all here. I use this program without templates because it is my primary image editor. Once I have a finished product in PhotoDeluxe(with or without text added) I am ready to share my graphic output with others as email attachments or web graphics. If you make your living as a graphic designer please do use other very expensive tools. But if you are a recreational home user or a serious soho user, this is the only program you need and forget all those other graphics programs that are so complex they are of no use. You buy this, you will use. My credentials? I have a BFA (a fine arts degree) and have been doing computer graphics since 1983.

Full featured, good value,

With a minimum use of the help menu, I have been importing photos from my scanner and my digital camera. Have used scaling, sizing, and various saving/exporting features. Have had NO problem saving as JPEG, am unsure what one reviewer was talking about! I really liked reducing the photos and saving them as JPEG's to use on my web page, and to send friends and family. The Adobe family works seamlessly with all my other software and devices.

I just joined the computer world last month and my GuerrillaMarketing with Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition book I purchased included the tryout version of Adove GoLive 4.0. Got all pictures scanned and even played with their backgrounds for my web page...Now I'm hooked. Come to amazon to purchase and saw where this great product had not been rated yet. The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because I'm so new, I don't know what is out that could be even better. I just know that it worked for me!

This is a really great product. It is easy to use and I have had little trouble with it malfunctioning. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a simple program that offers a wide variety of creative tools.

I bought this software program because I thought it would be good to use to make fliers, brochures, and stuff for the real estate business. I was impressed with the review and the product information. But when I recieved the software and tried to use it, i couldn't get the projects to work. I was only able to view the different pictures that were on my computer. I think that I am going to try PrintShop Deluxe instead. I heard and read that that Adobe PhotoShop is the big daddy to this -- Adobe PhotoDeluxe, but I can't afford that right now. I think that the Adobe PhotoDeluxe BE 1.0 needs some improvement. But I do love Adobe products.

I have been using this simple to use photo/graphics program ever since it was released.
I have tried using Corel with little success, and it is now in storage, in its pretty box. It is now 2011 and I am still using this simple program (Maybe that is why they are still asking $70.00 for it). I just recently ordered bumper stickers from an online outfit and recognized the program they were using; yup PhotoDeluxe. If you can get your hands on one of these, you just may like it as much as I still do.

Adobe's Business edition crashes easily when trying to print to my 24" wide HP designjet plotter. It could be file size or something else, but I'm no teckkie, so I don't really know. Adobe offers no help.Other than that, HP's bundled software (PhotoPrinting) is much easier to use but it doesn't support the large format.

The product does not allow you to save a file as JPEG. This has caused me many problems with posting photos to my Web page. Otherwise, the product is easy to use and has lots of fun things to create.
