Easy to Follow
CS4 didn't complete changed the game, so if you're familiar with previous Photoshops, you should be good. This book does give good advice for Photoshop in general. It's not as humorous as Scott Kelby, but very straightforward. I purchased this for a digital photo editing class, and didn't read all of it, but what I read was pretty helpful. It's good to reference...

excellent information but typeface is faint and the black & white illustrations are very difficult to see.

CS4 didn't complete changed the game, so if you're familiar with previous Photoshops, you should be good. This book does give good advice for Photoshop in general. It's not as humorous as Scott Kelby, but very straightforward. I purchased this for a digital photo editing class, and didn't read all of it, but what I read was pretty helpful. It's good to reference occasionally even for a Photoshop junkie like myself. You never know when you can learn a new trick!

I ordered the book on the 3rd and got an email a week later (when they were supposed to arrive) that said they wont get there for another week. Could not even cancel because they were "shipping soon". very disappointed.
