Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Compact, lightweight, and versatile, this forced-air heater warms an entire room, and its thermostat maintains the room at a consistent temperature. It has two power settings, 750 and 1,500 watts, and can be used either standing up for outward heating or lying flat for upward heating. Standing up, the heater measures 10 inches high by 9 inches wide by 4-1/2 inches deep. It has a cool-touch cabinet and automatically shuts off in case of overheating. In warm weather, the heating element can be shut off and the fan used alone to cool a room. The heater carries a five-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

3.0 out of 5 stars Too hot to touch, February 14, 2001
This review is from: Adobeair 29H45 Versatile Slim Profile Heater/Fan (Kitchen)
We had purchased this because it is advertised as cool touch cabinet. The problem is that the front panel is metal and gets too hot to touch after just a few minutes. The heat output is good, but not for use around infants, small children or pets who may get burned by the hot metal front.

4.0 out of 5 stars good room heating, March 1, 2001

This review is from: Adobeair 29H45 Versatile Slim Profile Heater/Fan (Kitchen)
I use this heater in a 120 sq ft apartment room and it works great w/the door closed. I only need to use it on the 6th setting out of 14 for "light long sleeve" weather. I usually leave it on the floor in it's "vertical" position. It usually takes about 20 minutes for the entire room to heat up. The thermostat control is really nice, so i don't have to touch it once I turn it on. The temperature remains constant.
