This exceptionally compact heater, roughly a 7-inch cube, can provide 1,500 watts of heating (or 1,000 watts on its low setting). There's no thermostat and no fan-only setting, just a single on/low/high knob on top. The unit shuts off automatically if overheating occurs. It has a 6-foot white cord. --Richard Farr

The Adobeair C500 ceramic heater is one of the better ceramic heaters on the market. Its Compact design and automatic overheat cutoff make it a nice addition to any household. An oscillating function would make this heater even better. My family gives it 4 out of 5 stars.
