This book contains some of the most highly controversial subjects. These subjects affect Americans as family units and individuals. The questions posed for the public are some of the toughest a parent may have to face and pose many of the choices our adolescents are peer pressured into almost daily. Every parent and educator should read this book.

I had to purchase this book for a class I was taking on adolescence. The book has some interesting topics and I like that it covers two sides to a debate for each of the given topics. I was asked to side with either the defensive or offensive side to a given topic each week from this book, and found it easy to do so with the given articles on the topic. I can't say I was all too interested in this book or the topics, the class was kind of one of those things you need to take to graduate type of things, but the book was easy to follow and simple to understand.
