If all the negative reviewers would stop being outraged and slandering this man's integrity for a minute or two and read the book, they would have a hard time denying the indirect but crucial role the Holocaust played in the foundation of Israel. From now on, Israelis have something to point at and say "We can't let THAT happen again!!! Now give us more nukes..." or the good ol' "If you don't agree with us you're as bad as Hitler!!!". Extremely useful and effective diplomatic tools.

I have read the very controversial and hard to "swallow" "Adolf Hitler - Founder of Israel: Israel in War With Jews", and despite its seemingly offensive title, I strongly recommend this book. Foremost, I recommend this book to the Holocaust survivors and their families who seek the peace of mind about the horrors of the past and why they happened to them and their loved ones. Next, I recommend this book to all those who seek the truth (Kardel's motivating factor for writing it in the first place), and to all others who wonder why World War II has never ended but still 55 years later rages on in the Middle East and elsewhere. And most importantly, why in the process so many millions of us and even more of others have perished and continue to perish. In other words, borrowing from the book's subtitle, why ever since its inception thousands of years ago Israel has been in War with Jews and the rest of Humanity.

One would think that Werner Maser's work "Hitler: Legend, Myth and Reality" would have laid this "Hitler was Jewish" myth to rest long ago, but there's a pseudohistorian born every minute. Hitler's grandfather was none other than Johann Nepomuk Huettler, not Georg Hiedler, Rothschild, Frankenberger or Frankenreither.

This book is a difficult read and a bit hard to follow. I suspect this is because it has been translated from German by someone who doesn't quite understand all the nuances of the English language. It doesn't help that amazon.com has a typo in the title. It is Adolf Hitler - FOUNDER of Israel: Israel in War with Jews.

That said, it is also a difficult read because of what it has to say. For this reason, it also becomes an essential read, especially today. This book was copyrighted in 1974. Here we are, in 2004, and Israel is as disruptive as ever. I do not, in this statement, equate Israel with Jews (which would render me anti-Semitic, which I am so not), although the confusion is understandable. It only becomes more confusing the more one tries to understand it. All Jews are not Zionists. All Zionists are not Jews. And some ZIonists were NaZIs.

The important point being, most of us have had the history of Israel taught to us in simplified fashion, a basic "run through" that supposedly suffices to tell us that we know "enough" about it to get through the day. Black and white, good and evil, perpetrators and victims.

Until, that is, we start having to send American (and other) sons and daughters to the Middle East to intervene in a long-standing an ongoing, historical battle that the history of Israel plays a significant part in. While this book can not address current times, it does address the roots in a way that allows us to understand better how history is unfolding as we speak. We cannot afford to limit our understanding of these issues to what the mass media chooses to tell us, or what we learn in the brief time that we are in school. Far too much is at stake.

Other books make the case about how involved Israel is in American politics. That alone makes this book essential reading.

Anyone has the right to write down his personal opinion, but it needs more than that to rewrite history.
I really doubt anyone jewish or not can follow this weird mind works. Easier it is to explain his motives:

Mr. Kardel is infamous in Germany for his strong antisemitism. He follows here the school of Otto Strasser (brother of Gregor Strasser), one of the early National Socialists - with an emphasis on Socialist. They try to wash clean the German "Wehrmacht" from anything. They put up incorrect and from all serious historians wrong proven statements of Jewish roots of Hitler, Heydrich, Eichmann etc. to blame anything they cannot talk away onto the Jews themselves. No page in this book that isn't full of false statements and antisemitic polemic.

There has been done alot of good research from the German government against antiracist tendencies. Kardel can't give proves for his statements in fact makes up his own stories about Hitlers mother telling her son about his Jewish grandfather Frankenberger, who never existed in Graz. Anyone who has further interest, I can give give some reference material that is proving all his statements wrong.

A total piece of fiction from beginning to end. Any and every "story" is put together to try and build some case that the Nazi leadership had "Jewish ancestry"--therefore, the Holocaust was an act of Jewish self-hatred. It is so laughable that respectable historians don't even review it. It is another piece of anti-Semitic propaganda masquerading as history. You don't like history? Make up your own! The sad thing is that some people, perhaps well intentioned, will see a book like this on a web site and think: "well, somebody reviews such stuff before it is sold." Well, that is not the case. Anyone can make up anything they want and get it published. The slightly clever falsiers of history, like this guy, invent sources--take things of context--play fast and loose with the truth---but give it a gloss that looks like what real historians do. It's not history. Just like a "scientific looking" argument that the earth is flat is not science.

i regret that i bought this pseudo historical garbage.what can be more icky than to read a story about three jews-hitler,heidrich and eichman- who killed (only they, not else) six millions jews and paved the way to establish israel
i dont recommend to waste time to read the nonsense
i think it makes no honor to amazon to hold it on the shelf
