Adoption and the Jewish Family is an excellent resource for Jewish adoptive and potentially adoptive families. Dr. Rosenberg combines a thorough history of Jewish adoption with details of halakha (Jewish laws) and minhag (Jewish customs). She gives advice from personal experience, as a Jewish mother, a Jewish adoptive mother, and a professional working in the Jewish communal services. This book is well-written, thorough, and easy to understand.
