This cost more than a lot of other dolls, but it's made in America and it's VERY good quality. Daddy bought it for our 5yo for Christmas, what a hit! 10 months later, she's still playing with Cindy (she renamed her).

The shoes do not come off, fortunately.

My mother-in-law liked this doll so much, she asked us to buy one for her!
