Adorable Sock Monkey Infant / Toddler Costume with Headpiece

This costume is cute and seems to fit our little guy. The material is like felt, and I guess I was expecting "sock" material (i.e., the material from which our toddler's sock monkey was made). He doesn't want to keep the headpiece on for long, so maybe he can use it in lieu of a plastic pumpkin as a treat holder when we go out on Halloween.

A cute costume. Some details you may not be able to tell from the picture/description: 1) there are no bottoms to the feet, it is meant to be pulled over the shoes, 2) the tail is attached by velcro to the butt, nice for safety but can lose it, 3) the eyes are cheapo craft store googley eyes glued to the hat which easily crushed and split at seams (letting the black disc out). Our little monkey only had one eye after 10 minutes and has a wonkey eye forever because of our hurried spot repair job, and 4)it is polyester fabric, good for a chilly night, but beware if your tike will be in warm weather. I guess all kids costumes are gonna have their issues...

I bought this for my 17 month old for halloween and it is just adorable. He is average height and weight and it fits him well. It's a little baggy so he will be able to fit warm clothes underneath. The material is slightly scratchy but with clothes underneath it shouldn't be a big deal. My one and only complaint is that the hat would have been better with a small strap to keep it on. The costume is for 12-18 month olds, most kids that age don't like to leave hats on. My son loves it, I put it on him to try it on and he did not want to take it back off. Overall the costume is super cute and I am glad I purchased it!
