This works perfect. We lost the charger that came with our camera somewhere. So we bought this one and it works spot on. Best bang for your buck out there.

I really like the design once I figured out how to insert the battery and align the probes. It works well for my Panasonic HDC SD60 camcorder battery. I haven't tried it with my Canon SLR battery yet but I assume that it would work. The status lights are a plus since they will let you know if you have the poles incorrectly aligned when you insert the battery.

I needed a way to get my solar panel to charge my camera while hiking in the Grand Canyon. It may have been a little bulky for my purposes, but it worked like a charm.
