Instead of paying around $50 for the Canon-brand battery charger, I got this one. It's smaller, lighter, a fraction of the cost and works perfectly. I bought it in combination with the third-party-branded Power 2000 NB-7L rechargable battery for my Canon G10 camera. Like the charger, the battery works perfectly, too. I see no difference between these third-party products and their expensive Canon-branded equivalents.
