Adrenal Organic Glandular supports the entire adrenal gland, both medulla and cortex portions. The adrenal cortex is the outer portion of the adrenal gland and is involved in the secretion of a variety of adrenal hormones, mainly cortisol. The medulla is the inner portion of the adrenal of the adrenal gland and is involved in the synthesis and secretion of epinephrine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine. This product is lyophilized (freeze-dried) and hypoallergenic. ... This is probably my most helpful supplement. I can usually tell a difference in my energy level within an hour or so. I take it in the morning and for lunch, but not after about 1 p.m.
